Giant Lego Man Washed Up On Beach

So this 100 pound fiberglass statue was washed up on Siesta Key Beach in Florida earlier this week. A spokesperson for Legoland, which recently opened a new theme park in Orlando, said the company doesn’t take credit for the stunt and isn’t behind it: “I wish we could say we did, it was brilliant guerrilla PR stunt.”

Denise Kowal, founder of the Sarasota Chalk Festival, which starts Tuesday, denied knowing anything about the stunt, except that she found it funny: “It’s hysterical that people would think that. It’s totally cracking me up.”

The front of the shirt is emblazoned with a grammatically incorrect message: “NO REAL THAN YOU ARE.” The name “Ego Leonard” was written on the back of his shirt.

The Sarasota Visual Arts website claims that it was Leon Keer, who will participate in the Chalk Festival, who is behind the 8-foot-tall figure. The site notes that L.Keer is the registered owner of egoleonard.com, which links to a Legoman page in the Netherlands, where a similar figure appeared on a beach in 2007.

Lingerie For Kids
Should children be allowed to wear lingerie? The French company Jours Apres Lunes calls it “loungerie” because it’s for lounging around instead of, uh, looking sexy prior to fucking. If you’re a pedophile, feel free to click that link to check out the babes babies.

Government To Team Up With ISPs To Internet Stalk Us

The House of Representatives has passed an extremely shady and disturbing bill that you should know about. The bill, H.R. 1981, requires your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to record for a year, all your online activities, such as websites you visit and content that you post. Why? Because, you know, the government loves cats from the interwebs!

The data would be provided to the American government by the ISP in secret and without any court oversight. This is based on poor and outdated electronic privacy laws. Let’s make a prediction: the database gets hacked and everyone’s information is leaked to the internet. I know, I’m like a fuckin future teller!

Since it’s just a bill, it isn’t an official law and can still be overturned. To help prevent the bill from becoming a law, you can fill out this form and submit it. It will be sent to your state representative in an attempt to get them to overturn the bill. Make sure you pass this on to anyone you know who uses the internet (ie: everyone).

80’s Missing Case Solved

Joseph Schexnider, who was 22, had ran in January of 1984 after missing a court hearing over charges of possessing a stolen vehicle. His family assumably didn’t report him missing because the police had arrived to their home searching for him following the missed appearance. He had also been known to leave abruptly.

Human remains were discovered with a pair of gloves, a cigarette lighter, a watch, and a wallet in a chimney during renovations at Abbeville National Bank in May of this year. This week, DNA tests by a Louisiana State University lab confirmed that the remains in the chimney, which was sealed off later in the 1980s, were those of Mr. Schexnider.

LIVE Suicide Tomorrow

A website is planning to live broadcast a terminally ill man ending his life in a case of assisted suicide. 62-year-old Nikolai Ivanisovich is terminally ill with brain cancer and has decided to let cameras roll tomorrow night when he gets a lethal injection administered by a physician at a clinic in Switzerland.

BattleCam.com, the 24/7 reality TV website that will broadcast the suicide, says, “This is a breakthrough in consciousness on what we watch, and how we watch it.” This wouldn’t be the first time a suicide has been broadcasted live online. Others have happened on other streaming sites like BlogTV.com and Justin.tv.
