It looks like Green Day is following in the footsteps of every other successful rock band. Green Day members Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt have revealed that the tracks on their upcoming album will focus on sex.

“I think it’s so personal and so voyeuristic,” Armstrong stated. Previous albums have thrown politically charged messages at listeners. “This is the first time we’ve ever really sung about fucking.” ”The songs are gonna fucking blow their minds” Dirnt added.

Armstrong has been kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight back in September for wearing baggy pants: “Just got kicked off a Southwest flight because my pants were sagged too low! What the fuck? No joke!” the singer tweeted. Southwest responded, ”Very sorry for your experience tonight, someone from our Customer Relations Team will reach out to you to get more details”

Michael Pedicone, who has been drumming with My Chemical Romance for about a year, has been fired for stealing from the band.

MCR’s guitarist, Frank Lero, said “Please listen close because this is the only time we are ever going to talk about this. The relationship between My Chemical Romance and Michael Pedicone is over. He was caught red handed stealing from the band and confessed to the police after our show in Auburn, Washington. We are heartbroken and sick to our stomachs over this entire situation. The band has no intention of pressing any charges or taking this matter any further than we have to. We just want him out of our lives.”

Pedicone responded on Twitter, “What happened is more complicated than it sounds but I did make a mistake. It was never my intention to hurt this band or all of you. It was an error in judgement based on a whole other situation that’s way deeper but this does not define me.”

It looks like Dead County’s Jarrod Alexander (former drummer of Death By Stereo and Suicide File) is filling in while the band states, “The show must go on.”

Snapple has allowed Maroon 5 to create a new flavor of tea, it’s called Tea Will Be Loved.

The flavor, named after the band’s hit song She Will Be Loved, was created to benefit Feeding America, which allegedly feeds hungry people in need across America. Sidenote: I say allegedly because I don’t feel comfortable claiming they do something without researching it myself to see if they actually do what they claim they do. I don’t believe everything that everybody tells me. I assume that a portion of your payment will be given to the organization.

Band member Adam Levine says, “After lots of taste-testing, we each chose our favorite flavor and combined them to create a new one. It was fun, it was really cool. Some flavors we made tasted like shit, some tasted amazing. The whole thing was a fun, charitable idea.”

So whats in it? It has green tea, pomegranates, and blackberries in the recipe. In addition, inside the caps are facts about the band. The limited edition blend is in stores now.
