The Walking Dead’s second half of the second season returns with all new episodes on Sunday February 12. The first half of the season ran in October and November (the split was pre-planned).

The Walking Dead is set to return to AMC on October 16 for a thirteen episode season - the first episode being a whole 90 minutes long starting just before season one ended. The season will be split in two, the first six episodes will air in October and November, with the second half beginning in February.

The Walking Dead Season 2
Above is a just-released trailer for season two of the tv show “The Walking Dead”. “It picks up about five seconds in an overlap (with season 1). Literally, you see them driving away from the CDC,” executive producer Frank Darabont said during a Comic-Con panel. “None of that six-month-later stuff.”
The Walking Dead comic book author Robert Kirkman said that the series will eventually catch up with the comics: “The plan is to get there, but it’s something we can’t rush.”
